Hello and welcome to a brand new year of Art!

We have started the new year by making some creative self portraits! 

Students in Prep/1 drew their self portrait using black markers. 

Students in Grades 1-4 created monochromatic self portraits. Each class were given a colour. They could only use that colour to create their portraits. 

Students in Grade 5/6 created self portraits based on the topic "My future is so bright, I need shades". The students had to draw one short term goal in one lens and a long term goal in the other. 

All of the self portraits will be on display in the foyer for you to view :) 

SHOUT OUT: Thanks to all parents who have sent their students in with old magazines and books for our collage pieces. Please, if you have any of these laying around at your house, we would appreciate them so much!
