Ride to School Day

Today was National Ride to School Day - a day for promoting physical activity and community. I'd like to begin by thanking and congratulating Athan L (School Captain) and Oscar D (Environmental Captain) for their organisation and promotion of this day.

Many students and families met at Jells Park and rode in convoy to school and others cycled or scooted from home.

 We couldn't have done this without the help of a number of parents - Kim Jan, Justin P, Daniel B and a HUGE thank you to Paul L who provided our hungry bike riders with fresh fruit at the end of the ride. 

Thank you also to all other parents who joined the convoy and helped the students ride safely to school. Finally thank you to the staff at school who assisted with parking all the bikes.
