New XUNO feature & Open Morning

New Parent Approval Process via XUNO Online Portal/Family App

We are excited to announce an enhancement in our communication and event management through the XUNO Online Portal/ Family App. Starting this term, you will be able to approve your child's participation in school excursions and events directly through XUNO, either online or through the app. This new feature aims to simplify the approval process, ensuring a secure and efficient way for you to give consent.

The introduction of this functionality means you no longer have to rely on paper forms, which students might misplace or forget to submit. Instead, approvals can be completed at your convenience, directly from your smartphone or device. Initially, this will apply to non-chargeable events and excursions. Payment for other activities will continue to be processed through our front office for the time being.

Please remember, it is mandatory for the school to have parental approval before allowing any student to participate in non local excursions. More significantly, this includes having up-to-date medical information. We ask that you diligently complete all required fields, including any updates to your child’s medical conditions, prior to the deadlines set for each event.

Adhering to these deadlines is crucial. They are set to ensure that the school can secure necessary bookings and manage costs effectively. Unfortunately, if approvals or payments are not received in time, your child may not be able to participate due to these financial and administrative constraints. In certain circumstances, we as a college, also reserve the right to cancel any planned events or excursions if an 80% approval and/or payment completion has not been met.

We believe the XUNO Family App will make the permission process much smoother and more reliable for everyone involved. We appreciate your cooperation and support in using this new tool to help enhance our educational experiences.

Should you require technical support in accessing your Xuno account, please call the college on 5479 1111. We look forward to a more streamlined and effective way of managing school excursions and events together.

Warm regards,

Martin Mielimaka

Assistant Principal
