Graduate Outcome Awards
We have had two Assemblies since our last newsletter. At the last Assembly of Term 1, we congratulated several children on their efforts in displaying the Graduate Outcome of HOPE, and last week we celebrated students who displayed the Graduate Outcome of INTEGRITY. These students received a Graduate Outcome Award.
Students who graduate from St Therese’s Primary School are people of HOPE, who are self-confident and believe in themselves.
Students who graduate from St Therese’s Primary School are people of INTEGRITY, who show a strong sense of justice.
For the next fortnight, staff will continue to be on the lookout for students who display the Graduate Outcome of INTEGRITY.
Whole School Cross Country
At the end of last term, we held our whole school cross country and it was our biggest participation number to date! It was amazing to see students dressed up in their house colours and trying their best throughout the day. The perseverance and determination that students displayed as well as the encouragement of others demonstrated lots of our graduate outcomes.
Congratulations to the following best contributors on the day:
- 12/13 BOYS - Levi B
- 12/13 GIRLS - Macaila B
- 11 BOYS - Samuel D
- 11 GIRLS - Perry W
- 10 BOYS - Patrick H
- 10 GIRLS - Isabel M
- 8/9 BOYS - Mila H
- 8/9 GIRLS - Paddy C
The next stage is SSV Division Cross Country which will be held at the Bendigo Racecourse on Wednesday 1st May. Students who were successful in this event will be notified soon.
Learning in Action!
Last week our Grade 6 students participated in a lesson on Leadership. This group task was a lot of fun and stimulated some fantastic discussion about what makes a quality leader and why leaders need good support.
