NPS Fete Wrap Up
NPS 2024 Fete a huge success! Over $80,000 raised for the school’s landscaping project!
The biggest thank you to everyone in our school community who helped on Fete Day. In total we had over 200 parents, carers and family members volunteering on Friday night and all-day Saturday to make the Fete happen. This year’s fete was extra big and extra special as we marked our school’s 150th anniversary.
Our Silent Auction alone had over 200 donations with more than $52,000 worth of goods. These were generously donated to us by local businesses, suppliers and NPS families.
Other standouts from the day were seeing the music students and teachers performing on stage, our parent band The Nits and their impressive dance moves. NPS students from the Green Team and their recycling efforts. Plus, the huge line-up of awesome live music thanks to our stage sponsor Northcote Social Club.
A huge shout out to our Fete sponsor Jellis Craig for their donations of billboards, posters, flyers and marketing support. Plus Matthew McIntosh from Jellis Craig who sealed the deal with the Auction for an Auction - Matt raised $30K alone for our school on the day.
As always, the best is always left to last, and Slime the Teacher didn’t disappoint. A huge hit every year, we give a big shout out to Matt for being slimmed!
I think we can all agree that the Fete was awesome, it takes a lot of time and effort behind the scenes to pull off this event. It’s not only a huge fundraiser for the school, but a great way to let our amazing NPS community shine.
