Putting All The Elements Together

Our deep hope in Primary Art is to know the Creator, love and care for creation and enjoy creativity, being made in His image. We see the elements of art and the brushstrokes of the master designer throughout creation. The colours of the sunsets, the wavy lines on the mountain tops and the shapes and patterns in leaves, just as a beginning.

We are looking particularly this term at the elements of Line, Shape and Colour, as you will see in the artwork below.

Just as every subject has it’s own vocabulary, thinking about the various kinds of lines, colour theory, and types of shapes allows students to put their creative and analytical thoughts about Art into words.
