Semester Highlights and Next Steps
We’re proud to celebrate the dedication and achievements of our Duke of Edinburgh Award participants for this semester.
A huge congratulations to the following students who have demonstrated initiative, commitment, and perseverance through their Bronze, Silver, and Gold award journeys:
Awardees – Semester 1, 2025
Bronze: Ashley, Carys, Kate, Avalon and Zariah (C10); Hal, Jake and Bowen (G10); Zara (C11); Talia (C12)
Silver: Tilman (G12)
Gold: Matthew (G11)
We applaud their hard work in volunteering, physical activity, skill development, and adventurous journeys! All of which contribute to becoming resilient and capable young adults.
Reminders for Current Participants
As we move into the School holiday period, a friendly reminder to all current Duke of Ed participants to keep logging your hours in the Online Record Book (ORB)!
The holidays are a great time to make progress toward your goals, whether it’s volunteering, continuing a skill, or being active.
You can access your ORB here: www.onlinerecordbook.org/fo or download the free ORB Participant App on your phone for easy access.
Interested in Joining?
New participants (Years 8 and above) are welcome to join the Duke of Ed program at any time!
To get started with your Award:
- Visit the Online Record Book and create a participant account: www.onlinerecordbook.org/fo/register/participant/welcome
- Set up your goals and choosing suitable assessors.
- Attend the weekly support sessions on Friday lunchtime in Room M119. bring your lunch and your laptop!
