Year 9 Photography and Digital Media Incursion
On Thursday 12 June, Year 9 Photography and Digital Media students took part in an exciting after-school incursion with 'Feature Creatures', mobile reptile displays and animal hire. The session featured a fascinating collection of reptiles and insects, including snakes, geckos, stick insects, a millipede, a blue-tongue lizard, a frog, and a shingleback lizard—all brought in for the students to photograph up close. The room was buzzing with energy as students eagerly anticipated the opportunity to capture these unique creatures on camera.
Following the incursion, students will edit their images and transform them into magazine covers inspired by National Geographic or Australian Geographic, showcasing both their creativity and technical skills.
A big thank you to Jacki and Chloe for giving up their time to inspire and educate our students.
