Foundation and Year 4

Buddies

With the Foundation students settled into primary school life, the Year 4 students have been there to be positive role models and friends to them. This semester has been action-packed with lots of fun and exciting activities. 

 

Some of the activities they did together were:

  • planting seeds
  • creating bowls out of paper mache 
  • decorating the paper mache bowls with paint
  • writing and drawing lots of different things.

Now, let’s read about what some kids have enjoyed so far this year with their buddies:

 

Samuel FJ- "I liked playing with my buddy outside."

Eloise FJ- "I liked playing on the playground with my buddy and doing some painting."

Leon FJ- "I liked planting the seeds with my buddy."

Calia FJ- "I liked writing about school with my buddy."

Alston FG- "I liked making the paper mache bowls."

Zoe FG- "I liked playing outside and drawing with them."

George FG- "I liked painting my paper mache bowls."

Grace FG- "I like how kind my buddies are to me."

 

Shreya 4H- "I liked it because we made paper mache with glue and I planted tiny plants in tiny pots with my buddy."

Joel 4H- "I liked buddies because we were teaching them things, such as paper mache, and getting to know the Foundations."

Asher 4A- "I liked how we made paper mache with our buddies and we had lots of fun making it together."

Anika 4A- "I liked how we got to be responsible with the Foundations and all the activities we did."

Aseel 4AH- "I have enjoyed our buddy sessions because the Foundations are really active and I enjoyed making the paper mache bowls."

Andrew 4AH- "I liked helping them create new things such as the paper mache bowl for Education Week and painting it with our hands."

Pablo 4LC- "I liked creating the paper mache bowls because it was fun to get dirty with my buddies."

Janice 4LC- "I liked playing tag with them and painting our paper mache bowls."
