From the Principal's Desk

Dear Parents,
There is much uncertainty and worry in the world right now and our children are not immune to this. In times of international conflict and uncertainty or even a tragic incident, there may be anxiety and fear. Some children will be curious about what is happening, others will express anxiety and some will show little or no awareness or interest. Providing information and responses to questions can be a challenge for parents. The guidance of caring adults will make a significant difference for children as they endeavour to make sense of the current situation. By being calm and open, parents can reassure children that they are safe and help them to make sense of what is happening. This article from Unicef provides some information that may be helpful.
