Focus on Learning

Term 2 Wrap-Up: A Term Full of Firsts, Fun, and Fantastic Achievements!

Breakfast Club: A Cracking Start to the Day!

We're absolutely thrilled to announce the incredibly successful launch of our Breakfast Club this term! It's been heartwarming to see so many students start their day with a nutritious meal and a friendly chat. The positive impact on their energy levels and readiness to learn has been clear to see. This fantastic initiative wouldn't have been possible without the incredible dedication of our volunteers and the generous support of our school community. A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped us get this up and running – you've made a real difference!

Celebrating Our Wonderful Mums and Carers!

Mother's Day was a truly special occasion at school this term. Our students loved preparing for and participating in our beautiful Mother's Day Liturgy, where they had the chance to celebrate their mums and carers. It was a lovely morning filled with appreciation, joy, and a few happy tears!

Staying Safe and Smart Online with Real Talk

In today's digital world, it's more important than ever for our students to be equipped with the knowledge to stay safe online. We were fortunate to have Real Talk visit us this term, providing excellent sessions for our primary students on cyber safety and growing up. The students learned valuable lessons about responsible online behaviour and navigating the changes that come with body changes.

Infants Dive into Simultaneous Story Time!

Our youngest learners in the infants' classes had a wonderful time participating in Simultaneous Story Time! This national event brings children from all over Australia together to read the same book at the same time. It's a fantastic way to foster a love of reading and create a shared literary experience.

A Special Visit from Bishop Peter Murphy

We were incredibly honoured to welcome Bishop Peter Murphy to our school this term. This was a particularly special visit as it was his first time visiting us as a bishop in our diocese. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect with our broader church community and for us to share all the great things happening at our school.

Tamworth Eisteddfod: Talent Shines Bright!

Our talented students shone brightly at the Tamworth Eisteddfod! They participated with enthusiasm and grace, demonstrating their skills in various categories. While success was sweet, the most valuable takeaway was the learning experience itself. Our students gained confidence, honed their performance skills, and learned so much from being part of such a prestigious event.

Athletics Carnival: Gold Strikes Again!

The annual School Athletics Carnival was a massive success, filled with healthy competition, teamwork, and heaps of fun! Congratulations to Gold House, who were crowned champions once again this year! More importantly, we witnessed fantastic sportsmanship from all our students, cheering each other on and giving their best in every event. It was a truly memorable day for everyone involved.

As you can see, we've packed a lot into Term 2, and we have so much to be grateful for. We are incredibly proud of our students' efforts and achievements, and we thank you, our wonderful parents and carers, for your continued support.

Wishing you all a fantastic and relaxing holiday break! We can't wait to see you all back for an exciting Term 3!
