Mrs Pauline Long
Dear Parents & Carers,
What an exciting week we have to end a very successful Term 2. Tomorrow we celebrate NAIDOC Week with a liturgy in the library at 11.30am followed by special classroom activities. The theme for NAIDOC Week this year is “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy."
This theme is all about celebrating the amazing things that young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are doing today, and how they are carrying on the strong traditions and knowledge of their Elders. It's about looking forward to a bright future where these young leaders continue to grow, guided by the wisdom of the past, to build a strong and proud community for everyone.
On Thursday we celebrate our Grandparents from 11.30am with a liturgy, concert, class visits & lunch. I hope many grandparents, mums, dads & other family members can attend. Please note if your child’s grandparent can’t make it, please invite another special person such as a neighbour or relative.
You are the heart of our school! I’ve loved watching you learn new things, make new friends, and discover your passions. Your energy, enthusiasm, and resilience inspire me. I am so proud of all your achievements and I hope you have a fantastic and well-deserved break. Keep reading, keep exploring, and come back ready for more adventures next term!
Thank you for your unwavering partnership. Your support, whether it's helping with homework, volunteering for school events, or simply encouraging your children, makes a huge difference. I truly appreciate your trust in our school and your commitment to your child's education. Enjoy this special time with your families.
Your hard work, passion, and commitment to our students are truly commendable. Your tireless efforts create a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive. Thank you for going above and beyond, day in and day out, to make our school such a special place.
I wish you all a safe and relaxing holiday.
School resumes for students on Wednesday 23rd July.
