Discovery Dome Incursion

On June 20 Middle Primary went to the Theatrette to experience a very cool space dome with a 3D touch. We sat down on the steps where we met Nick, our teacher of space, who was wearing a blue astronaut uniform. He was going to show us about planets, stars and the solar system. There was a big blow-up dome that looked like an igloo and inside the dome he had a projector which made it feel like we were moving inside the dome. We saw pictures and videos of planets, asteroids, star constellations, how seasons and night and day happen. It was all so interesting, we were all excited when we first saw an asteroid flip over our heads. There was also an exploding star near the end which gave us a big surprise! This incursion taught us a lot about space, helping us with our Inquiry project! It was so much fun!
