Sustainability

As a proud Five-Star School committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility, we want to remind everyone about some important recycling and waste disposal habits that help us maintain our high standards.

Keep Recycling Loose and Clean

Please remember to keep recyclables loose, no plastic bags or wrappers inside recycling bins! This helps our recycling partners process the materials efficiently and reduces contamination.

Did you know? Soft plastics like chip packets, plastic wrap, and bubble wrap cannot go in our recycling bins. If you can scrunch it into a ball with your hand, it’s probably soft plastic. These materials get tangled in recycling machines and cause contamination.

Please put soft plastics in the general waste bin.

No Coffee Cups in Recycling

Unfortunately, coffee cups are not recyclable due to their plastic lining. Instead, we encourage everyone to switch to keep cups or reusable cups that reduce waste and look great too!

Batteries Belong in the Special Drop-Off Point

Batteries CAN NOT go in the regular bins because they are hazardous waste. Luckily, our school has a designated battery drop-off point, so please bring your used batteries there to be safely recycled.

We have a variety of bins for you to dispose of your rubbish appropriately. They can be found by the front office. Thank you for your cooperation!
