🏕️Year 5 Camp🔥
All the Year 5's went to Camp Clayton, and I think everyone can agree the best part was the food. Lamb curry with rice and chocolate mousse for dessert, all you can eat breakfast buffet, homemade cookies, cheese and crackers, and party pies. On the last day for lunch we had a chicken schnitzel with gravy and veggies. It was good!
We also did a bunch of rotations. We did a course with a balance board and a rope game where you go through a rope, but you can’t touch it; free play, acting, taking out scenarios, and a LOT of other stuff too.
The cabins were cool too because we got bunk beds. Some kids have bunk beds but instead of bunking with siblings, we were bunking with friends. We also got to bring games, which was fun. And some kids bought lollies for their cabins. It was good fun!

Year 7 Taster Day
On Friday 27 June, we were thrilled to welcome Year 6 students from schools across the NW Coast to our Secondary campus for our annual Taster Day! These future Secondary students were diving into fun and exciting activities, exploring new skills and discovering hidden talents. This hands-on experience helps ease the nerves about transitioning to Secondary, while giving them a glimpse of the electives we offer. We are excited to see them join us full-time next year!

ENROLMENTS FOR 2026 ARE OPEN!
We encourage our current families with siblings for next year, or beyond, to please lodge an 'Enrolment Enquiry Form' via our website https://www.leighland.tas.edu.au/enquiries as soon as possible to secure your child’s spot, and to assist our Principals in determining vacancies. Once you have submitted your form, we will send you a link to our application form from our new online enrolment system (Funnel). Please note: siblings are not automatically enrolled; completion of the enrolment application & provision of supporting documentation is required for all students.
If you are aware of a new family who are considering enrolment for their child/ren, please encourage them to complete our Enrolment Enquiry Form. We would welcome the opportunity to provide them with our information pack, and organise a tour of our facilities.
