In the Art Room with Mrs. Dabb

I’d like to extend a sincere “THANK YOU” to each and every one of you who came and supported our recent Art Show.

It was so incredibly rewarding to see our students proudly walking around - pointing out their artwork, smiling as they shared their creative talents, talking about what they had been required to do and, in some cases, even sharing information about the artist they were inspired by. 

It was a real celebration of our year’s work thus far and once again I feel extremely fortunate to have this opportunity to work with the students in the art room each week. 

It was, of course, a whole team effort and I would also like to acknowledge the Leadership team and all staff for their contributions towards the final preparations and their support throughout the year. 

In the coming weeks students will be bringing their art work home in their portfolios. This work can then remain at home however the portfolios will need to be returned to school, emptied. 

It is vital that they are sent back to school as soon as possible so as I can prepare them accordingly for next year’s class groupings. 

The Grade 6 students do not need to return these (unless they wish to donate their folder).
