Purple Day for Epilepsy Awareness

On October 31st we had a purple dress day dedicated to epilepsy awareness. Students who wore purple or who were out of school uniform were to bring a cold coin donation, with all money collected at school on the day to be donated to Epilepsy Australia.  At lunch time we did a walkathon to see how many laps of the oval the school could do, to get people involved. We completed 236 laps of the oval as a whole. Students  were encouraged to learn about epilepsy by being shown a PowerPoint we had made, following a Kahoot. Epilepsy has affected the College community and is a cause that the College feels very passionate about and is keen to raise awareness for.
