Principals message
Dear Parents/carers,
A reminder to all students and families that the rollover to the 2024 timetable will begin at the start of Week 6 on November 13. Parents have been emailed information in relation to the rollover. Students will receive their new timetable on the Monday. There are some organisational changes which students and their families need to be aware of and these will be evident when looking at student timetables. One example of this is that sport for students in Years 7 and 8 (on the new timetable) will be on Friday afternoon.
Students moving from Year 10 into Year 11 will not be required to purchase senior uniform as the new uniform being introduced from Term 1 2024 has no distinction between senior and juniors. The only exception to this is the optional Senior Jumper which students can wear in Year 11 and Year 12. There is a two year transition period where students can wear current uniform.
The table below sets out the new uniform requirements.

From Term 1, 2024, the NSW Department of Education is introducing a revised Student Behaviour Policy. The updated policy has been simplified and clarified and is underpinned by positive approaches to behaviour support and management.
The suspension and expulsion procedures have been included in this update and have been clarified for schools for respond to persistent and serious misbehaviour.
The student Behaviour Policy includes behaviour that occurs:
- At school
- On the way to and from school
- On school-endorsed activities which are off-site
- Outside school hours and off school premises where there is a clear connection between the school and the students’ conduct.
- When using social media, mobile devises and/or other technology involving another student or staff member, where there is a clear and close connection between the school and the students’ conduct.
Some of the behaviours (this is not an exclusive list) which may lead to an immediate suspension include:
- Being in possession of, uses or supplies tobacco, vaping devices, alcohol and e-cigarettes.
- Being in possession of, uses or supplies a suspected illegal/restricted substance
- Being in possession of, uses or supplies weapons including knives and firearms
- Engaging in threatening or physically violent behaviour
- Engaging in serious criminal behaviour related to the school.
The aim of the Student Behaviour Policy is to support schools to build a more inclusive and equitable education system so all students can learn to their fullest potential.
