PRODUCTION UPDATE...

Rehearsals are coming along nicely and we have been incredibly impressed by the sheer talent of our students! We are certain they will have you in stitches due to their impeccable delivery and interpretation of their characters and the storyline.

The Level 3 students have been busy practicing songs in their classrooms and outside for the past few weeks. This week the Year 3 & 4 students got up on our 'stage' in the stadium to show off their fantastic singing and dancing! We also added our skilled Year 5 and 6 teams of Backstage Ninjas to rehearsals, who have approached their tasks with commitment and dedication - immediately organising props and staging with excellent initiative and care.

We also had our 'costume check' this past Wednesday, where students brought in their planned costume items to show to their teachers and get advice. Check out some of the fabulous animal costumes being organised by students in 4ED!

Wednesday 25th OctoberYr3 and Yr5 Cast will be rehearsing a full run through of the script with props and dances (no costumes), in the stadium between recess and lunch time.
Monday 30th OctoberA full dress rehearsal for both Yr3&5 cast and the Yr4&6 cast. Students will be in costume. We ask them to bring their costume items to school. Yr3&5 cast will be in the morning 9:20am-11:50pm (with recess break in the middle) and the Yr4&6 cast will be starting right after the other cast and finishing at approx. 3pm (with lunch time break in the middle).
Tuesday 31st OctoberTech Rehearsal - all Yr5 and Yr6 students will be travelling to the Crossways Centre during the school day to practise with the stage and all the sound and lighting (e.g. headset mics).
