Composting Champions for Term 3!

At our first whole school assembly for Term 4, on Monday 9th October, Sustainability Leader Jai reported on the Planet Savers’ excursion to the Bellbird Dell at the end of last term. Jai did a fantastic job on informing all the students and parents about the activities the Planet Savers participated in at the Dell, and how much all the Planet Savers enjoyed the day.

Jai then had the exciting task of announcing the Composting Champion Class for Term 3. The Compost Cup is awarded to the class that has collected the most stickers for having only the allowable composting items in their class’s organic bin each week.

Last term, two classes tied as Composting Champions – 5CB and 4ED. Well done to the students in these classes! Thank you to all students who are considering the environment and composting correctly. Keep up the awesome work!
