Victorian State Track & Field Championships

Congratualtions to Benny B (5S) who qualified for the U11 Boys Triple Jump to compete at the State Champs. Benny jumped really well and finished 10th in a field of 16 athletes. Amazing to see Benny battle it out with the other competitors, many of whom were a good foot taller. Making State Champs is a huge achivement.

SSV  Eatern Region Boys Netball Carnival

Yesterday 16 Level 5 boys went to the Knox Regional Netball stadium to compete in an SSV (State School Victoria) Netball Competition for boys. It was split into three divisions, A, B and C. We had two teams, an A and B team. It was a fun experience and there were over 60 'all boys' teams from a variety of schools. Playing Netball with all boys was very competitive and fast paced as most of the teams were from Level 6.

The A Team: The A team won 5 out of 6 games, all against tall Level 6 kids. They came second in their pool and received a runner up award.

Congratulations to Benny Barin for winning MVP for our Pool.

The B Team: The B Team, unfortunately didn’t get an award but still did an amazing job. 

We would like to give a big thank you to Miss Ward, Ms Wylie, Emma Timms, Aulia Barin, Janneke Port and Ian Timms for their help and support that we needed to cross the finish line on the day.
