Religious Education & Faith Life

On November 7 we celebrate our Xavier Faction. The faction is named after St Francis Xavier. Saint Francis Xavier was born in 1506 in Spain. As a child, he was full of curiosity and always wanted to explore the world.

Xavier became a great scholar and learned many things, but he felt a calling to help people in other countries. He joined the Jesuits and travelled to many places, like India, Japan, and many islands in between. He met people who spoke different languages and cultures, and he tried his best to understand and help them as he taught people about the love of Jesus and shared stories of hope and faith. Francis Xavier helped the sick and the poor, and he made friends everywhere he went.

Saint Francis Xavier's love and faith made a big difference in the lives of many people.

Even though he faced many challenges and hardships during his travels, he never gave up. He believed that love could change the world, and he kept spreading the message of hope.

Saint Francis Xavier passed away in 1552, but his legacy lives on. People all over the world remember him as a great missionary who showed us that kindness and love can bring us together, no matter where we come from.
