In Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS), our focus has turned to the crucial theme of water. Students are delving into various aspects including the importance of water, water scarcity, the potential of water as a renewable power source, the water cycle and the diverse conditions of water. This comprehensive study aims to instill a deeper understanding of the significance of water in our lives and the world around us.
Last week we went on a field trip exploring the Don River, traversing the Saw Dust Bridge and delving into our own wetlands. Students had the opportunity to engage with, and appreciate, the beauty of our God's creation.
Armed with scientific curiosity, they tested the salinity and pH levels of water, gaining valuable insights into the quality of this precious resource. Additionally, students had the chance to explore the microscopic world beneath the water's surface, uncovering the hidden wonders that often go unnoticed.
