Physical Education

Steve Brewer & Janelle Summit

Dear PMPS community,

Our year 5 students had the privilege of hosting Taekwondo Olympian Stacey Hymer from The Good Village AIS Program. This visit provided an excellent chance for Stacey to impart knowledge to young individuals about the importance of mental well-being, physical health, sustainability, and the skills required to maintain a balanced lifestyle as an athlete. She skillfully delved into these facets, sharing valuable insights with the next generation to assist them in achieving their goals and leading a healthy lifestyle. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Stacey for coming out to PMPS. Good luck in your future competitions, and rest assured, we will be wholeheartedly supporting you!

Our gratitude goes out to the Melbourne Stars for visiting our school to conduct a clinic for two of our Year 2 classes. WBBL Players Maia Bouchier and Sasha Moloney offered valuable insights into the world of cricket and the life of a professional athlete.

Kind regards
