VOCABULARY

Data: Collection of information gathered by observation, questioning or measurement.

Graph: A visual diagram used to represent statistical information.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Have your child create a multiple choice question that has 4 possible answers eg. What is your favourite ice-cream flavour? Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry or Rainbow. Then get them to collect data by asking this question to all the members of your household. 

Using the data collected (answers) have your child create a bar graph to represent the results.
