VOCABULARY

Positive - constructive or optimistic

Compliment - praise for someone or something

Empathy - the ability to understand and share the feelings of another

Kindness - the quality of being friendly, generous and considerate

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

During dinner, practice giving each family member a compliment.

Talk about a time you were shown empathy or another person showed empathy towards you.  Discuss a time when you were shown kindness.  Discuss the use of positivity and being grateful.
