Principal's Report

Term 4

Last Friday we had World Teachers’ Day where the theme was 'Hats off to Teachers' We couldn’t agree more and we thank the Concord School teachers for all their dedication and hard work throughout the year supporting each other, the students and families. Each teacher goes above and beyond to ensure that the students are happy and engaged in learning.

HATS OFF TO TEACHERS THIS WORLD TEACHERS’ DAY!

Let’s celebrate Australia’s teachers for their skilled work in educating, inspiring and supporting our students.

As Jason mentioned in his Compass post last week, he has taken on an acting role of Senior Education Improvement Leader (SEIL) in the Hume Merri-bek area, for the rest of the year. The Department of Education have widely advertised an Expression of Interest for the Acting Concord School Principal role to commence on 13th November 2023.

In the interim, from 30th October–12th November, myself and Bronwyn Hart will share the Acting Principal role. We will inform the community when a principal is appointed.

Take care,
