Art Exhibition and Soiree

What a sensational night!  I am sure that you will all agree that the Art work exhibited was of an exceptional standard.  I would like to firstly thank Ms Liz Kelly-McAlister who has made this event a feature of our school curriculum.  Liz manages to engage all the children in their work and for the stupendous outcome achieved in the diverse pieces of art work on display. Also thank you to the classroom teachers and the Learning Support Officers who contributed with the main piece of work for the auction and the added individual pieces. The diversity in mediums and materials reflected the talents of our students.  I believe that this was perhaps the best exhibition to date.

The musicians played their instruments with great pride and skillfully showed the work that they have been learning during their private music classes.  Another talented group of students who shone on the night with great pride.

Congratulations to the winners of the Live Auction Art Pieces. I'm sure that the art work will be placed in a prominent place at home.  The bonus donations from the Clohesy family definitely stirred up the auction with added prizes - Thank you!

Thank you to the Year 5/6 MN families who catered for the night with high standards which could have easily equated to an NGV event.

In all,  the event lived up to the expectations of bringing families together in celebration of the children’s work. The smile on everyone’s faces reflected the atmosphere of the night.

Thank you to everyone for your participation and support.

World Teachers' Day 27 October 2023.

Today, World Teachers' Day, is an opportunity for our school community to acknowledge the dedication and commitment our Teachers, Learning Support Officers and Administrative staff demonstrate in the work that they do.  Together we strive to work as a team to ensure that our students receive an excellent education and personal care in a friendly and nurturing environment.   Thank you to the PFA for the delicious treat received today.

Parkinson's Disease Fundraiser

It is always so rewarding to see the students suggest ways to help organisations who support people in need.  Jemima, Poppy and  Primrose have used their initiative to do just this.  They volunteered to hold a cake stall and sell the goods to the children at lunchtime today.  They cooked and prepared some delicious treats to sell in support of the Parkinson's Foundation.  Congratulations girls on seeking to help others in time of need.
