Year 12 Physics

The Year 12 Physics classes are well into Unit 3, Area of Study 1: ‘How do physicists explain motion in two dimensions?’. Students investigate motion and related energy transformations experimentally and analyse motion using Newton’s laws of motion in one and two dimensions. Experiments and demonstrations in circular motion, rocket and marble projectiles, Bluetooth SmartCart collisions and impulse on raw eggs have reinforced the ideas and concepts we have been working on.

We are greatly looking forward our excursion to the VCE Physics Day at Luna Park on the 5th of March for further opportunities in problem-solving and applying physics concepts and skills to real-world contexts.
