Dear Families and Carers of Clayfield College Boarding
We are very excited to welcome our new boarders and their families to boarding for Term 1 on Sunday, with all returning boarders to please be in-house by Monday 4:00pm.
When arriving at the Boarding House, please enter via Gate 7 and utilise the side door only to drop off your child and their luggage. Please then proceed to the car park to park your car.
Thank you to the many families who have advised us of their child’s return travel details. If you require us to collect your child from the airport, please advise us by Friday afternoon 2:00pm on 07 3262 0221 or boarding@clayfield.qld.edu.au.
Please also ensure your child is school ready upon return, as per the Uniform Policy, with no fake tans, no acrylic nails, no false eyelashes, one natural coloured hair and only one piercing in each ear lobe before their return.
Boarding House staff are here to assist however we can by accompanying boarders on shopping trips for any essentials you were unable to travel back to boarding with such as linen, school shoes and toiletries. We will also assist with uniforms and textbooks if required.
On Sunday 28 January, the Boarding House will be joining all boarding schools in South East Queensland at Wet ‘n Wild for a day of recreational fun and connection. This is a compulsory outing for all boarders.
All you need to know about boarding, including details of staffing for 2024, locations of year levels, and boarder travel dates, are included in the 2024 Boarding Handbook.
