Year 4 Literacy
During the first three weeks of this term the Year 4 students have been involved in creating their reading and writing communities.
Throughout these lessons, students learn about a range of areas including:
- The roles of the teacher and students during literacy lessons
- The purposes for reading and writing
- How to choose a good fit book
- The BEPS reading and writing models
- Setting up their book boxes and classroom libraries
- Knowing their strengths and interests as readers and writers
- Creating personalised front covers for their readers and writers notebooks
