Happy Safer Internet Day!

Tuesday the 6th of February, 2024, marks Safer Internet Day, with this year’s theme Connect, Reflect, Protect. 

This annual event is celebrated in 170 countries to raise awareness about online safety for people of all ages. The internet has become crucial in almost every aspect of our lives, for both adults and children at home, at school and at work, so it’s important for everyone to know about online safety.

On this special day, students at BEPS explored what it means to have a safe community online and reflected on how their actions online may affect their own safety and others. Students learnt how to act responsibly when on the internet, and how to protect themselves and others. Students discussed the importance of respecting others and not sharing personal information online.
