Principal's Message

Good Afternoon Parents/Carers

Week 3 is already upon us and we are powering along with our learning and extra activities. Thankyou Mr Wilcox and all staff involved in ensuring our swimming carnival was a success. The students behaviour on the day was outstanding with a big shout out to Tahlia and Jack for their leadership and assistance throughout the day.  Quirindi PSSA swimming carnival will be held on Friday 23rd February and students attending will be notified this week. 

The Leadership induction assembly was held this morning.  Congratulations to all students and I am looking forward to working with them throughout the year. 

We have school photos coming up on Tuesday 12th March and NAPLAN for students in Years 3 and 5 commences on Wednesday 13th March. 

Years 5 and 6 will be going to Tamworth for the Science and Engineering Challenge day being organised by University of Newcastle and hosted by Tamworth Rotary Club on Friday 22nd March. 

Thursday 21st March is Harmony Day and we encourage all students to wear something orange.  It can be an orange shirt, orange socks, orange hair ribbon.  Harmony day is the International Day for the elimination of Racial Discrimination and the theme is Everyone belongs.
