Safety First

The state government recently invited submissions from the public for creative ways to reduce road trauma. A Road Safety Grants Program has been established. One such body with a vested interest in this program is Kidsafe Tasmania.

Peter Gillon (SVC 1971-79) has been Road Safety Manager of Kidsafe Tasmania since 2016.  He had previously been Motoring & Safety Services GM at RACT Tasmania. In 2022  He attended the Australasian Road Safety Conference at Otautahi, Christchurch in the South Island of New Zealand.
