New Staff

We are excited to introduce you to our wonderful new staff:

Luana Calo

Hello! My name is Luana Calo and I will be teaching 1405 on Thursdays and Fridays and 1406 on Mondays and Tuesdays. I recently completed my Bachelor of Primary Education to pursue a career in teaching as I am passionate about providing children with a profound education, where they can cultivate their knowledge and understanding of themselves and the world around them in a captivating and enlightening manner.

My initial experiences at Greenwith Primary School have left me impressed by the delightful and bright children, the welcoming and supportive staff and the overall wonderful grounds of the school that provide ample opportunities for outside play and engaging physical activities.

In my leisure time, I enjoy playing football and watching sports such as basketball, football and soccer. I also find joy in the quieter pursuits of reading and crochet.

Nour Hatem

Hi GPS families! My name is Nour and I am excited to teach the Year 3 students in 310 this year. I chose teaching as I love building relationships with kids and creating a safe, welcoming learning environment. My first impressions of Greenwith Primary have been very positive. The grounds are beautiful, I love that it's so green and I am enjoying the collaborative learning with 309.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, nature walks and the beach.

Lisa Woods

Hi! My name is Lisa and I'm the new performing arts teacher at GPS. I have been a performing arts teacher for a few years, and have previously worked at Angle Vale primary and other schools in the North. I love teaching my subject, and I am also passionate about choir -  I am the conductor for the North Metro music festival.

I am looking forward to doing lots of singing, movement and drama games with your children! In my spare time I love yoga, playing scrabble and time with my family. Thanks for welcoming me to Greenwith Primary!
