From Principal Steve -  NAPLAN 2024

Dear Parents/Carers,

NAPLAN testing will occur in March this year. This brochure contains an overview of the NAPLAN testing and some links to further resources. 

Our teachers in Grades 3 and Grade 5 are working with students to ensure they are familiar with the test format. We do not 'teach to NAPLAN' but we want our students to be well prepared to take the tests so they can do their best and feel confident. 

The testing schedule for BPS is listed below. Please note the times in brackets are not the test durations themselves but are the windows of time in which the tests will be conducted. If your child is unwell on the day of a test, there are opportunities to conduct catch-up tests during the testing window.

Thursday 14th March

Grade 5 Reading (Between 9:00 - 11:00) 

Grade 3 Reading (Between 11:30 - 1:00)

Tuesday 19th March

Grade 3 Conventions of Language (Between 9:00 - 11:00)
