Book Week Celebrations!
Last week, we celebrated Book Week with plenty of exciting activities centred around the theme 'Reading is Magic.' On Thursday, our students had a wonderful time dressing up as their favourite book characters and showing off their costumes during our morning parade. A big congratulations to our Wellbeing and Media Captains for doing a fantastic job coordinating and running the parade! Also a huge thank you to the parents that came to support on the day!
We wrapped up the week with a special author and illustrator visit, which was an inspiring way to bring our celebrations to a close. A reminder that the Premiers' Reading Challenge is nearing its end, so please make sure students are logging their books before the deadline. Keep up the great reading, everyone!

F/1 & 5/6 MCG Excursion
SSA Basketball
On Friday 16th August, our 5/6s showed their great basketball skills at the SSA Basketball event at AWA. We are so proud of all three teams' efforts, with at least 1 win in every team and the Division Boys coming away with second place. After weeks of PE sessions with Mrs Sanders and voluntary lunchtime trainings, we are so proud of their achievement. A big thank you to all the parents that came and supported, scored, brought coffees and a special mention to Neve T for coaching on the day.
