Kanyul

“Press from the Pouch”

Welcome to Week 7 of the Kanyul write up. Let's start off with a wrap up for the SSA basketball that out 5/6 competed in, congratulations to all the Kanyul Kangaroo legends that participated in the day but also to the Lok-Lok sports people one great day, boys winning 2nd overall in an awesome effort and 10/10 for the girls that won a game, all of us over her in the Kangaroo mob. When asking Sam our Kanyul leader about the day he said F-1 & 5-6 showed all the super 7's and more at the MCG excursion. What risk takers, heading to Melbourne! Sully said his favourite part was going in the tiger place, a Super 7 that Sully said he displayed was risk taking when I went to the very top of the stadium because it was high! Chantelle’s favourite part was going on the football pillow & a Super 7 Chantelle displayed was Best Effort in the activities.

Book week, dressing up & the Book Week Parade can be very exciting but nerve racking for some people, shout out to all Lok-Lok Risk Takers especially Lilyana J for Lok-Lok that walked in her first Book Week parade as a Minion, well done Lil! Kanyul team member Max R dressed up as Deku, his costume was so cool! He chose this character because there’s a show & book about it, he really enjoys them!

Sneak peek on next week’s wrap up we will be discussing with some Kanyul students about their participation in the ‘I Can Program’, super excited for this!

Keep up the great work Kangaroos, you continue to inspire and be inspired. You all should be proud of the year you have had & keep those tokens flowing!

Go Kanyul,

A reminder that students can wear their house iron on patches on their school polos. These can be ironed onto students' polos, underneath the Ceres logo. It's great to see some students already wearing theirs!
