Exciting Times Ahead

As we reach mid-term, we're excited about two events: Canberra Camp and the Year 5/6 and Year 3/4 Hooptime basketball tournaments.

Year 5 and 6 students will soon explore our nation’s capital in Canberra, deepening their understanding of Australian history and government while building friendships and independence.

The Hooptime tournaments offer a great opportunity for students to showcase their skills, work as a team, and enjoy healthy competition. We encourage everyone to join in, whether as players or supporters.

We deeply appreciate our teachers' hard work in organising these events and encourage you to thank them for their efforts on behalf of your children.

Not everything may go as planned, and this is a chance to help our children build resilience. Learning to cope with setbacks is an essential life skill, and we encourage you to support your children in navigating these challenges positively.

As we prepare for these events, let’s continue to support one another and foster a community of encouragement and resilience. We look forward to seeing our students thrive in and out of the classroom.

Book Parade - Friday 16 August

Get ready for a fun and festive start to the day with our Book Parade tomorrow morning at 9:10 am in the gym!

Students are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite book characters and show off their creativity and love for reading. It’s a fantastic opportunity for everyone to celebrate the joy of books and storytelling.

Parents and guardians are welcome to join us in the gym to cheer on our students as they parade in their costumes. We look forward to seeing all the amazing characters that will come to life!

The next clothing/fabric recycling day will be Friday 23 August, 2024. Simply bring your clothing/fabric in (including pre loved uniform not suitable for resale) and put it in the Mondo Recycling Bin and give your clothes/fabric a second chance. The donation bin is located near the outside basketball court/chook pen.
