The Sacrament of First Reconciliation is a big step in the life of a believer. Reconciliation (once called Confession or Penance) is the sacrament of God’s loving forgiveness. The word reconciliation comes from a word that means “coming back together again.” There are times when we need to ask God to forgive us. We can do this in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Our Year 3 students who have been baptised in a Catholic Church are invited to make their First Reconciliation next term.
Reconciliation Faith Formation Evening: Thursday 10th October
Sacrament of Reconciliation: Wednesday 30th October
(times of both events are to be confirmed)
Please use this link www.schoolinterviews.com.au to register your child and indicate if you need a sacramental stole.
Event code: 5atec
Further information will given to families by the end of the term. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact Cath - cpalmer@shnewport.catholic.edu.au
“Illuminating natural discoveries”
Aim: The Learning Showcase is an opportunity to connect our students and their work to our families and other students in the school. This is an opportunity to celebrate all that our students have achieved in their Faith Life Inquiry learning this term.
We hope to see you in our classrooms!
