ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
The Sacred Heart School Vision Statement and Philosophy speaks of creating a Catholic faith community that, with Jesus as our model, promotes tolerance, compassion, equality, justice and joy in each other’s presence. As educators, we look for and celebrate these qualities, dispositions and character traits to acknowledge these in others.
Prep B | Ivy Cross | For blowing my mind in our whole class discussions. Ivy, I'm going to need to find a bigger space ship because you are sending me to another planet! You always set such a fine example in literacy when we play the "toss and catch' game. Catching and blending the sounds like a CHAMP! Keep up the delicious work superstar! | Prep C | Siena Cugnetto | For your focus during Literacy and Writing sessions. The way you always try your hardest to use our new phonemes and graphemes in your writing, as well as making sure you have included a capital letter, full stop and finger spaces is phenomenal! Luckily my shoes are on tight or else my socks might fly off! |
Theodora Dimitrakopoulos | For reading in our assembly like a top notch presenter! Watch out Channel 9! Theodora, your positive ‘can-do’ attitude not only brightens my day, but brings many smiles to Prep B. Ana Sparkes | For being a strong collaborator, especially during our claymation sessions. The way that you step up, take on different roles is super phenomenal.
