Happy 100 Days of School!
There are so many exciting things happening at school at the moment! One of the highlights over the last two weeks was celebrating our 100 Days of School. Students were invited to dress up as 100 year olds, dress up as what they'd like to be when they grow up or include a 100 theme on a shirt. I must thank our Prep C families for helping the children create so many wonderful outfits.
During the course of the day, we enjoyed participating in a range of activities all centred around the number 100. The students wrote what they would buy if they had $100, made gum ball machines with 100 gum balls, created portraits of 100 year old people, made glasses in the shape of 100, counted by 10s to 100 to make a Cheerio necklace and enjoyed eating cupcakes with hundreds and thousands on top.
Mr Webber visited the classroom to wish us a Happy 100 Days of School. He even presented each student with a special gold Principal sticker which made everyone feel very important.
Please enjoy some photos taken on the day.
We had a great time on Green and Gold Day celebrating our own ACPS Olympics. Thank you to the THRIVE team for organising such a great day.
We'd also like to thank Mrs Kenny for organising Athletics Day for us. It was our first time on a bus together travelling to the athletics track and everyone demonstrated our school value of responsibility. We then showed another school value, optimism, as everyone gave the activities their best effort. Congratulations Prep C, you did a great job!
Have a great weekend everyone!
