Principal's Message

Mrs. Cassie Lynch

Dear Families,

Welcome to another action packed edition of our newsleter! We have had a wonderful fortnight here at Our Lady's, celebrating many achievements within our community.

Book Week

Last week, we were fortunate enough to celebrate Book Week! Thank you to all families who came along to our Book Week Parade and popped in to our Pop Up Book Fair. We love seeing joy on children's faces and last week there was much to celebrate.

Father's Day Liturgy

If you are able to, we would love for you to come along and celebrate Father's Day with us with our liturgy. We will be holding this event on Thursday the 29th of August, 2024 at 2.30pm in the Our Lady's Church. Monsignor Cris & Bishop Shane are also going to be in attendance so please come along and say hi.

Bread

As advised yesterday via Class Dojo and email, Open Door Neighbourhood house have generously given us the opportunity to receive a crate of bread products when they are available to them.  On the days that we receive a crate they will be available for students/parents to collect (limit of one product per family) from outside in the courtyard area at the end of the school day.

Sandhurst Arts on Show

Our very clever Grade 5/6 class have been busily preparing for our combined Sandhurst Arts on Show Concert at the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre on Wednesday the 4th of September, 2024. Our Lady's will be combining with St. Patrick's Primary School Wangaratta, St. Joseph's PS Benalla, St. Mary's Primary School Rutherglen & Galen Catholic College Wangaratta. Tickets are available for families (max 4 per family). Please scan the QR code below to access or click the link in the below advertisement.

School Improvement Survey

Please keep an eye out for an email coming from us in relation to our annual school improvement survey. This survey collects valuable data that helps us inform future directions of our school. If you have time, please complete the survey - we would greatly appreciate it.

Blessings,

Cassie
