Over the past 2 weeks all of our OLF students have enjoyed many fantastic book week activites organised by their amazing teachers!
In this newsletter we see our infants grades getting to share in a love for books and the magic of reading. K-2 Students enjoyed a performance which was adapted from the CBCA Award winning book Timeless by Kelly Canby. The key message was focusing on quality time with loved ones.
Christine Kodomichalos an author of her newly published book - A Big Fish is Waiting for Me visted us on the 22nd August to share her story with Kinder, Year 1 & Year 2. the students all loved this experience.
And our Years 3 & 4 classes saw the incredible illustrator David legge, who visited us last week. He shared his inspiration for his book BAMBOOZLED and showed us how picture books are published and printed.
On Monday, 19th August Mrs Clifford organised Harry Potter Trivia at lunch for any keen students that wanted to show their knowledge of the Harry Potter book series. The students had a magical time and everyone knew so many amazing facts.
