That’s Week 7 done and Term 3 is slipping away from us!  Here is a snippet of the week that was……

Weekend Activities

Here is a summary of our fabulous hosts from last weekend's activities with Sally Barnden and Rob Hodgson

This weekend we had a marvellous old time….

We stayed at the College Friday night and enjoyed making our pizzas in the pizza oven.  Thanks to our resident chef, Rob Hodgson, they were delicious and perfectly cooked.  After tea, we played some games before the students headed off to socialise or go to their dorms.

Saturday morning was a slower start, with the students only required to leave to town at 10 am.  Some chose to go to the movies, while others went shopping at Eaton Fair and Good Sammy’s in Bunbury.  A quiet few hours back at College before heading back into Bunbury for an enjoyable Laser Tag session.

As always, students enjoyed some downtime on Sunday morning, most sleeping in and relaxing.  We had a delicious BBQ lunch at College.  Although the initial plan had been to take a trip out for a BBQ, the weather had other ideas.

Instead, a few students went to Stirling Cottage and Harvey Dam after lunch, while others enjoyed making some cookies and brownies in the kitchen. The remainder of Sunday was spent at the College, with students returning and the fire burning.

This Weeks Activities

  • Monday morning, our Year 11s headed off early to their Muresk & Dowerin Trip.           (It's always amazing how quiet the College becomes without the entire Year 11 cohort!)
  • Collie Hockey finals have started; despite our team being short players, they were still victorious!
  • Yoga with Sally.
  • As we were short of numbers on campus this week, some activities were rescheduled/cancelled, such as volleyball, darts and the Anytime Fitness talk, which will go ahead next week.
  • AFL training.
  • Students with horses onsite spent time at Equine.
  • The pool competition with Bill has now progressed to the semi-final stage.
  • Talking Circle for Tallanalla with Kryssie.
  • Masterchef for this week’s Year 12 group with Mel.

Have a fabulous weekend! 😊
