Book Week
Book Week kicked off on Monday with our Annual Book Week Parade. Judging by the array of costumes on display, some people had planned this for a while.
It was wonderful to see our entire community getting involved with students, staff, and even some younger siblings joining in the action.
A full suite of photos can be found on our Facebook page or via the link below:

In continuing with the Book Week theme, 'Reading is Magic.' a magic show was organised today for all children. I'm sure there will be many tricks practised when they get home.
Thank you so much to Miss Jane Wilkinson for once again organising such wonderful experiences for our children.
Classroom Cuisine
We are excited to announce that, commencing Monday, 26th August, Classroom Cuisine will operate every Monday to supplement our existing Lunch Order offerings.
Classroom Cuisine comes recommended by our parent body, endorsed by our School Advisory Council and aspires to be an online lunch order option that:
- is easy to use, reliable and affordable
- offers variety and choice within a healthy framework
- allows busy parents to provide great lunches for their children
- takes the headache out of coming up with lunch and snack ideas
- empowers children to make their own healthy food choices
So how does it all work?
Log on to:

and follow these simple steps below -
Please note that orders must be placed by 8:30 am on Mondays.
Class Cuisine uses as little packaging as possible and favours paper-based recyclable products over plastic products. However, as we are a 'Nude Food' school, children will still need to take home any packaging waste.
Classroom Cuisine will operate every Monday, and while our Monthly Lunch Specials will conclude, our existing lunch service will continue to operate Wednesday to Friday.
District Athletics
We wish our athletics team well for tomorrow's District Athletics Carnival at Moonee Ponds Athletics Track, and know they will represent our school with pride.
Footy Colours Dress Up Day
A reminder that on Friday 30th August we will celebrate the AFL final series with our annual ‘Footy Colours Dress-Up Day’.
On this day children are invited to wear their favourite AFL team colours to school and I hope to see a sea of black and white (Go Pies!)
Fathers' Day Brekky
Also on Friday 30th August, we will kick off Fathers' Day Weekend (ha ha), with our Fathers’ Day Breakfast.
Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. and what better to serve Dad than a hot bacon and egg roll? Don’t forget to wear your Footy Colours to school (dads and children)!
Fathers' Day Stall
Following breakfast, our traditional Fathers’ Day Stall will return. There will be a myriad of gifts to choose from starting from as little as $1.00. It is up to each family to decide what would be an appropriate amount to spend.
Year Prep 2025 Enrolment Interviews
We have commenced our Enrolment Meetings for Year Prep 2025.
If you are still yet to submit an application for your child or know of a child who wishes to enrol, please complete an application form and forward it to the office as soon as possible. Enrolments are filling fast!
School Hats
As per our Sun Smart Policy, children are required to wear either the school legionnaire’s hat or bucket hat (both Anti-Cancer Council approved) whenever they are outside from mid-August to the end of April.
Please ensure your child has their school hat each day so that they can participate fully during their PE classes and recess breaks.
School Closure Days
Please mark in your diaries the remaining School Closure Days for 2024 -
- Monday 14th October: Positive Behaviour Support (Tier 2 strategies)
- Monday 4th November: Teacher Time in Lieu Aquittal Day
