HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

The wind momentarily stopped, and the sun came out for our SMPPS Father’s Day & VIP breakfast this morning. It was wonderful so many dads and VIPs could come along today as we enjoyed pastries, fruit, bacon & egg rolls, tea & coffee (thanks to Harry from Park Lane). There was also our craft table where the kids could make keyrings or cards for their special people (this was very popular!) as well as our photo walls including a very cool superhero wall which was perfectly themed for the superheros in our kids lives!

A special thank you to the following local businesses who kindly donated goods for our breakfast this morning:

Be sure to show our support back to these businesses when you are next buying your meat, bread or baked goods. They are loyal supporters of our school and it is always good to give back when we can. A big thank you also to Nikki and Jackson from TheirCare who helped with set up, cooking and also donated fruit platters – your ongoing support for our school events is greatly appreciated.

Thank you to Miss Michaels who prepared the cards and some keyrings for our craft station and a special shout out to Steve Bowden who created and donated the wooden “Happy Father’s Day” keyrings that the kids could colour in – they were great!

To all the parent volunteers who helped set up, prepared food, cooked food, served tea & juice, helped pack up – THANK YOU! We cannot hold events like this without your support and we very much appreciate you volunteering your time to ensure these events can happen.

And finally …..a HUGE thank you to Seon Bowden and Aili Lim who put their hand up to be event organisers and did a wonderful job. Seon & Aili brought great ideas, positive attitudes, they engaged with local businesses and those within our school community to get people involved. Without your coordination we are not able to hold events like this. Thank you for your time and energy and well done on putting together a successful and fun Father’s Day breakfast.
