This week in Maths we are learning to understand division.

VOCABULARY

Equal - the same for everyone.

Division - the act of dividing or separating into equal parts.

Share - to divide and give out to others equally.

Groups - a collection of items.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Tell your child the following story.

" Mrs Callea had 6 lollies and she wanted to share them with her friend, how many did they each get?" 

Use materials to support your child with solving the problem (buttons, teaspoons, paper clips).
