CURRICULUM FOCUS

This week in Writing we are continuing to write an information report. 

VOCABULARY

Title - a name of a book, film, play, piece of music, or other work of art.

Diagram - a drawing or plan that shows the parts of something.

Labels- a term or phrase used to describe a person or thing.

Facts - something known or proved to be true. 'Water covers most of the earth's surface'

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Ask your child to tell you a fact about animal. Work with them to record their fact, using M100W and sounds they can hear. Ask them to use a capital letter for the start of their sentnece and a full stop for the end.
