Basketball Coaching Announcement 

Congratulations to Sports Academy Basketball Coach Heath Johnson from the Warragul District Amateur Basketball Association who was announced the Under 16.1 Gippsland United Basketball Coach! Heath Johnson will be in the Mackenzie's coaching role for the Basketball Sports Academy for the rest of the year.

Junior School Sports Academy Tryouts

Last term on Thursday the 7th of September, our Year 7 Sports Academy students had their tryouts for when they enter Year 8 in 2024. The tryouts outlined a skills session (AFL, Netball, Basketball, Soccer and Individual), a fitness session, where they completed a 20 metre sprint and a 1 kilometre time trial, and a games session. The outcome from the trials will be announced soon.

Wednesday After School Cricket Coching Sessions 

On Wednesday in Week 1 Sports Academy teachers Mr Chandler and Mr Bailey tested out the new bowling machine during their cricket session after school. 

These sessions will occur from 3.15pm-4.05pm every Wednesday in the Gym.
